Book Cover Comments

The original red cover had a much more antique fancy feeling to it, but it doesn’t mean I don’t like this black cover I have now. There’s some mysterious, ancient copy sitting in the library, feeling to it, and dear reader if you are a Shadowhunter fan, tis book is worth it.

The Actual Review

Some of you might know about a similar thing to this: the card editions. But lemme tell you this. The card editions only include characters from The Mortal Instruments. If you are ready and know your facts beyond TMI, get this book over the cards. You get characters from The Infernal Devices, The Last Hours (even if it starts publishing in 2019), TMI, Shadowhunter Academy (super super short), The Dark Artificies (hun you even get a glimpse of Lady Midnight) and its worth it.

You get the illustrations we all love by Cassandra Jean, each of them paired with a flower that I believe has the correct meaning written on each illustration (some of them sounds a little far-fetched so I lowkey doubt but hey) and you get to learn a little fun fact you might not have known about your favourite character(s). Facts from the year they were born, although a lot of them are left as “unknown“; their families as in father family and mother family, although a lot of the mother family are left as “unknown” to honestly random facts you’ll see in the description.

With this purchase, you even get to learn about everyone’s favourite characters, Chairman Meow and Church. They’re the stars of the show, and to be able to know more about these spectacular beings is truly my honor.

All jokes aside, GET THIS BOOK IF YOU LOVE THE SHADOWHUNTER CHRONICLES. ITS WORTH TO BE A PART OF YOUR COLLECTION!
